## Notice

3 Specific requirements 3.1 The Contractor will perform a study to generate further research data on the persistence of CA organism to compliment data previously generated by IZS under projects SE2203 and SE2209 (Contract Ecm 48124). 4 Objectives The Contractor will conduct further research to achieve the following objectives: 4.1 Objective A: - Assess ticks (with potential to extend to biting insects) as carriers of Ma. - Determine whether Ma survives blood meal ingestion. 4.2 Objective B: - Assess survival of Ma under natural external environmental conditions and in the presence of disinfectants.
