## Notice

The St Charles UCC offers an advanced nurse practitioner led service at convenient times for residents of Kensington & Chelsea and surrounding boroughs. The service aims to: * provide a high-quality walk-in service for service users with minor injuries / ailments. * facilitate prompt, safe and appropriate treatment for service users with a range of minor conditions, thus preventing attendance at an Accident & Emergency Department. Additional information: Direct award of an interim contract for a period of 12 months (until 31 March 2020) and reserving the right to subsequently extend this for up to a further 12 months (until 31 March 2021). to enable the CCG sufficient time to engage with the market in regard to this service, to broaden the range of healthcare service during 2019-2020 and to develop an integrated health pathway model including Urgent Care. Recognising its obligations and responsibilities under the NHS (Procurement Patient Choice and Competition)(No.2) Regulations 2013, the CCG has assessed the most appropriate route to awarding this contract, having regard to the necessity to secure continuity of these essential patient services and has concluded that the incumbent provider will assure the safest solution and being considered the only technically capable provider at this time. The published maximum potential value is based on the intended contract value for year 1 and then extrapolated for 2 years, whilst recognising actual contract value may be lower than this.
