The purpose of this procurement exercise is to establish a framework agreement for the short to medium term hire of vehicles that are required in addition to the Councils owned Vehicles. A maximum of 20 suppliers shall be awarded a place on each Lot. Call-offs shall be made in the order of most economical pricing offered, subject to availability. The Framework life, applicable for both lots, shall be for a period of 2 years with an optional 1 year extension subject to requirement, performance and budget. Suppliers may bid for both Lots and there is no restriction on the number of Lots a Supplier can be successful in. The Authority does not guarantee any spend or requirement through this framework and subsequent lots. All orders are on an ad-hoc basis as and when required.
