The procurement is focused on youth education services and is situated in the East of England, primarily around their three outdoor learning centres: Grafham Water Centre, Stibbington, and Burwell House. A key milestone in this process is the engagement end date set for 5th October 2018. Interested parties are invited to review the market engagement notice published on 26th September 2018, which outlines potential partnership and leasing opportunities for these sites. This tender presents considerable opportunities for businesses in the outdoor education sector, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector organisations (VCSEs) looking to expand their services. Outdoor learning experiences, both day and residential, provide the opportunity for exploration and discovery, helping to cultivate skills of resilience, independence and self-awareness for participants. Through taking part in a wide range of high quality outdoor activities, individuals can develop meaningful and positive relationships with others and the environment around them. Cambridgeshire County Council are currently exploring opportunities for its outdoor learning centres, including; * Delivering the service in partnership with an interested party; * Enabling an interested party to deliver the service on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council (sites would be leased to the third party)); * An interested party taking a lease of the site(s) for their own private business purposes providing outdoor education services or similar; * An interested party taking a lease of the site(s) for their own private business purposes for another purpose.
