## Summary

The procurement process, initiated by Northumbria Police, is focused on providing specialist training services related to domestic abuse cyber stalking and harassment. This open tender, titled "Domestic Abuse Cyber Stalking & Harassment Training", is classified under education and training services (CPV code 80000000). The tender period is set to conclude on 11 January 2019, with the contract period commencing the following day and running until 13 January 2019. The training will be delivered across various locations, including the United Kingdom and European territories.

This tender represents an opportunity for businesses specialising in training services, particularly those with expertise in domestic abuse, IT, or victim support, to collaborate with a reputable police authority. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, as their involvement may lead to sustainable community impact and enhance their service offerings. Engaging in this project could lead to further partnerships and expansion within the public sector.

## Notice

The Domestic Abuse Cyber Stalking & Harassment (DASCSH) Pilot is a project funded by the Home Office VAWG Transformation Fund. The project has revolved around the development of a small team of experts (in IT, domestic abuse investigation and victim support) tasked with developing ways to best evidence, investigate and prosecute cyber-enabled stalking and to safeguard its victims. The pilot began in January 2018 and will run until June 2019. It has been developed on the assumption that sustainability can be best achieved through short-term developments - such as the creation of a discrete pilot - and longer term interventions - such as officer training and information for specialist services - that create sustainable change in attitudes, knowledge and working practice. With this in mind, an initial training package was developed and delivered to approximately six hundred 24/7 officers in the early weeks of the pilot and focused on raising awareness of the team and its work.
