## Summary

The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub, operating under the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, has initiated a tender titled "EOECPH DPS for Pharmacy Automation Solutions." This tender falls under the goods category and seeks to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for a range of pharmacy automation solutions. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with tenders due by 24th November 2020, and the subsequent contract period commencing on 25th November 2020, continuing until 21st October 2030. The DPS is designed to be flexible, allowing new suppliers to join at any time, and covers various pharmaceutical automation products and services across the UK, including organisations in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that specialise in pharmaceutical technology and automation solutions. Companies capable of providing services such as ward automation systems, medication dispensing solutions, and overarching medical software are encouraged to participate. The selective procurement method and the wide array of applicable goods and services allow for increased competition, enabling suppliers to engage with a growing market focused on enhancing efficiencies in the healthcare sector.
