## Notice

M365 has been a vital project supporting PCC's transformation to digital and mobile working. This project has remained live despite changes to programmes and the portfolio and is now a project being delivered under the Business Support Programme. M365 is an intelligent productivity solution that allows secure collaboration and protects our organisation's data assets through advanced security protocols and device management features. In tranche 1 the journey to deliver Microsoft 365 started with the migration of all staff email accounts from our servers to the cloud and the launch of the new staff intranet on SharePoint. Once these were complete a plan was defined to roll out collaboration tools using Microsoft 365 to the organisation however as a result of Covid- 19 the decision was made to roll MS Teams out to the whole organisation using a Champions Network to support the roll out. There are now over 130 Champions across the organisation and over 2300 members of staff are using MS Teams on a regular basis. There are 356 Teams sites, there have been in excess of 6000 calls and over 65,000 meetings held through MS Teams since its launch on the 1st April. Building on the success of tranche 1, the project has defined Tranche 2, M365 Optimisation, where we are now progressing towards rolling out M365 mobile apps on BYOD, personal mobiles and all corporate devices and providing digital tools so PCC can work more flexibly and productively, better manage security, simplify infrastructure and to modernise services. It will address existing challenges e.g. limited collaboration between partners; inconsistent ways of communicating; unproductive time when out of the office; over reliance on physical meetings and lost time due to travelling; excess time spent on tasks due to lack of automation.
