All pre-construction services such as Consultancy, Programme and Project Management and other property related professional services (project management, architectural services, design and cost management etc) will not form part of this framework as they are contained in related frameworks which will interface with this framework. - to provide a multiple contractor framework with a mini competitive tender call off mechanism that allows genuine market price competition, - to promote the use of SME's where appropriate, - rationalise and standardise procurement process and documentation to reduce time to appointment and administrative burden, - realise tangible cost and qualitative improvements through amalgamating spend and establishing long term partnerships with the supply chain; The framework will have an initial term of 3 years with 1 possible extension of up to 12 months.
