## Summary

The Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP) is currently seeking suppliers for the "Handheld Solution" tender aimed at providing emergency communications equipment for NHS ambulance services across the United Kingdom. This procurement, classified under the goods category (CPV code 44316400), is in the Tender stage and will conclude on April 30, 2021. The successful supplier will provide ESN Handheld Devices and associated support services for an initial contract term of 5 years, starting from January 21, 2022, with the potential for extensions up to a further 2 years. The primary address for correspondence is located at 39 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0EU.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in the supply of hardware products, notably those specialising in communications technology and associated support services. Companies that provide ESN-compliant devices, accessories, and implementation or operational services will be particularly well-suited to compete. With the ARP intending to support multiple English Ambulance Trusts and related bodies, businesses looking to expand their footprint in the public sector or enhance their offerings to emergency services could find this a lucrative prospect.
