Due to new monitoring systems being implemented to adopt an evidenced-based evaluation approach the OPCC will use this financial year to review the market and ensure no other provider is capable of providing the same level of service, to allow for a directly awarded longer term contract and to assess the position of demand for this level of service. Procurement supports this purchase as it's a continuation of an existing agreement and there would be significant costs and disruption if we changed supplier while this is being reviewed.
