## Notice

The Authority requires a study to investigate user interactions with APS vehicles and interfaces in a real world setting in order to understand their requirements when performing journey tasks.The Authority requires a human factors/ergonomics approach to investigate user interactions with APS vehicles and interfaces in a real world setting in order to perform journey tasks. Mixed methods techniques will be needed to gather information regarding tasks alongside a qualitative understanding of user experiences during these tasks. The Authority requires focus on passengers of a self-driving bus service, and as such, other types of self-driving vehicle are not included in the scope. The characteristics of participants to be included must be carefully curated in order to ensure representation across a number of categories as detailed in 3.2 and 6.4. Participants must provide feedback on their experiences across their entire journey from end-to-end.
