## Summary

The Department for Education (DfE) is planning a procurement process titled "National Leaders of Education Reform - Future Opportunity." This initiative falls under the education and training services industry category and will take place in locations across the United Kingdom and beyond. The procurement is currently in the planning stage, with the DfE intending to open an Early Supplier Engagement Event on 26th August 2020. Interested contractors will be invited to participate in a recruitment and accreditation effort for National Leaders of Education (NLEs) over a three-year contract beginning in December 2020, with an estimated budget of £1.7 million for the initial period.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in education and training services, particularly those with experience in recruitment and assessment. Firms capable of delivering national outreach through consortiums, partnerships, or regional infrastructure will be well-suited to compete, especially those that can adapt their strategies to varying needs of schools requiring support. The structure of the procurement allows for both single contractors and collaborative groups, making it accessible to both small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSEs) aiming to expand their role within the education sector.
