This initiative is aimed at enhancing employment, health, and wellbeing outcomes for individuals with long-term health conditions or disabilities in the West Midlands, focusing on areas including Dudley, Sandwell and West Birmingham, and Wolverhampton. Companies experienced in healthcare, vocational rehabilitation, or social support services are highly encouraged to participate in this tendering process, which is critical for addressing the needs of vulnerable populations in the West Midlands. ## Notice The West Midlands Combined Authority is working with NHS England, the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Department of Health (DH) to trial IPS services in primary and community care settings. The aim is to test if this model can deliver a transformational improvement in employment, health, and wellbeing outcomes for people out of work with a self-defined long term health condition or disability. The trial will deploy employment specialists across primary and community NHS services focused on four areas to be based around CCG geographies: Sandwell & West Birmingham, Birmingham South Central, Dudley and Wolverhampton. It will run from October 2017 to March 2020, hosted by Wolverhampton CCG on behalf of the West Midlands Combined Authority. The procurement will be in 4 geographical lots, across the 4 CCG areas. Bidders will be able to bid for a maximum of two lots. The geographical lots are Dudley, Sandwell and West Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Birmingham South Central CCG areas, The total budget available for the whole project is a maximum of PS6.2 million, a maximum of PS1.55M for each lot.
