## Summary

The Department for Transport (DfTc) has awarded a contract for e-Disclosure services related to the Cranston Inquiry. The contract is valued at £384,930 GBP and involves IT services, consulting, software development, and support. Epiq Systems Ltd will provide the services under Lot 2 of the RM6336 framework. The procurement method was selective, with a call-off from a framework agreement. The contract period is from 6th February 2024 to 5th February 2025, with the tender period ending on 6th February 2024. The location for the service delivery is in London, United Kingdom.

This awarded contract presents an opportunity for businesses involved in IT services, consulting, software development, and support. Companies with experience in e-Disclosure services and a capability to provide end-to-end solutions using the Relativity platform would be well-suited to compete. Despite the procurement method being selective, the contract offers potential for growth and collaboration in the specified services category. Businesses interested in providing services to public inquiries and inquiries chaired by legal and administrative teams can leverage this contract to expand their offerings and establish valuable partnerships.

## Notice

The contract is to provide eDisclosure services to the Cranston Inquiry, an independent non-statutory inquiry led by Sir Ross Cranston, into events on 24 November 2021, when at least 27 people died attempting to cross the Channel in a small boat (the Inquiry). The project will see Epiq delivering eDisclosure services to the Inquiry using the Relativity platform. Epiq will provide a full end-to-end eDisclosure service under Lot 2 of the RM6336 framework, including training and support, oversight and document review. This will enable Full Participants to the Inquiry to securely upload large volumes of documents and other material, for it to be reviewed and sorted and disclosed amongst other participants, the Inquiry Chair and his legal and administrative teams.
