## Notice

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) which runs the Queens Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB), Birmingham Chest Clinic, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, Solihull Hospital (collectively known as "HGS") and various community services across the region is to select a suitably qualified and experienced strategic partner to support their unified communications and data networks at each layer of the network. The scope of support covers WAN (not circuits), LAN (Core and Edge), Wi-Fi, Unified Communications including service desk, incident management, configuration, reporting, innovations and ad-hoc services when required. UHB is tendering for services to replace existing contracts due to expire between 2019 and 2020 respectively. The supplier will be expected to plan a phased transition, allowing for a seamless transfer to operational service at the end of the existing contracts. It is anticipated that transition services will commence in January 2019. It is UHB's intention that the contract shall commence on the transition services commencement date and the term of the contract shall expire five (5) years from the operational services commencement date (anticipated to be July 2019 but this is subject to change). There will be options to extend the contract for a further two 12 month periods (5+1+1).
