## Summary

The BFI is conducting a public procurement process for the "BFI Unified Communications" project, intending to design, supply, install, train, and support Unified Communications technology across multiple sites in London and Berkhamsted. The procurement stage has reached the Award phase, with the contract period set to commence on 2nd March 2017 and conclude on 1st March 2018. The tender was submitted through an open procurement method, and the tender period ended on 6th January 2017. Key locations for this project include the BFI Stephen Street in London and the BFI Southbank, as well as additional sites in Berkhamsted and Gaydon. The industry category focuses on telecommunications services, with related classifications encompassing various aspects of communication technology.

This tender presents valuable opportunities for businesses involved in telecommunications services, particularly those specialising in systems design, installation, and maintenance. Companies that can provide integrated Unified Communications solutions, including video and audio conferencing, voicemail systems, and robust network services, would be particularly well-suited to compete. The significant scale of the project, supporting up to 570 staff and around 650 physical extensions, indicates a lucrative market for SMEs and larger firms alike in the context of ongoing demand for modernised communication infrastructure within the BFI.
