## Summary

Newcastle University is seeking tenders for the provision of audio-visual equipment as part of the refurbishment of the Henry Daysh Building. This procurement falls under the goods category, specifically focusing on audio-visual equipment (CPV code: 32321200). The tender was officially published on the 18th of August 2021, with the contract period running from the 8th of June 2021 to the 16th of August 2021. The procurement process is complete, and the awarded contract, valued at £450,000, was won by Roche Audio Visual, a supplier registered as an SME.

This opportunity is particularly relevant for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) specialising in audio-visual supplies, system design, installation, and maintenance, as it is open exclusively to suppliers on the AVI2005NE framework in the North East of England. Businesses that can collaborate effectively with main contractors, like Sir Robert McAlpine, and adapt to specific site requirements would be well-positioned to succeed in future similar tenders, leveraging their expertise to grow within the educational sector at institutions like Newcastle University.
