Here are some of the high level discussion areas that will be covered : * What should a successful non-emergency medical transport system look like, what are the challenges and how could these be overcome? * What technological innovations could be applied to this service to improve communications and the overall patient experience? * What transport solutions could be utilised for this service to ensure a flexible, cost-effective and high quality patient centred service? * How can the eligibility criteria be robustly applied whilst ensuring alternative solutions are offered to the patients that are not eligible for transport? * How would you identify and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure an integrated and efficient service that minimises duplication and gaps in provision? * If this service were to be procured, would it be advantageous to separate into lots, and if so what would the specific lots look like, e.g geographical split. If you can't attend on that day but wish for your views to be considered, then please email your thoughts to isobel.winterson@nhs.net by Wednesday 8 February 2017.
