## Summary

The procurement process titled "Chest Adobe ETLA 2026" was initiated by Jisc, a British organisation focused on digital services in education and research, headquartered in Bristol. This tender falls under the "Software package and information systems" category and is part of a broader agreement with the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC). The procurement method was a further competition within the Software License Resellers Agreement (SLRA), specifically targeting Lot 2a. The tender process concluded with an award on 16th July 2026, and the contract commenced on 20th July 2026, with an initial term of one year and options for two additional 12-month extensions. The total estimated value is £25,000,000, and it covers delivery across various locations, including British Overseas Territories, the Channel Islands, Europe, Isle of Man, and the United Kingdom.

This tender offers substantial business growth opportunities for large businesses experienced in managing high-value software procurement and distribution. As the contract awarded to CDW Ltd demonstrates, companies with the capacity to efficiently process and fulfil orders within extensive geographic coverage are well-positioned to compete. The primary business role here involves acting as an intermediary between Jisc and Adobe, highlighting the need for reliable transaction processing capabilities. Although small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) were not considered suitable for this tender, large companies with existing infrastructure and industry partnerships may benefit significantly from similar opportunities. Business growth can be realised through increased order management efficiency and strengthened relationships with prominent software providers like Adobe.

## Notice

This Chest Adobe ETLA Agreement requirement falls under Lot 2a of the Software License Resellers Agreement (SLRA), let by SUPC. A further competition was issued to all resellers on this Lot on the 24th June, and closing on the 7th July 2026. The contract value represents an estimated and cumulative figure for all orders placed by Jisc members and customers over the lifetime of the agreement. This is very much a "pass through" requirement. The successful reseller will only be required to accept the orders from Jisc, place corresponding orders with Adobe, invoice Jisc and pay Adobe. No other value add is expected, there will be no requirement to interact with institutions that are part of the agreement on either a pre-or post-sales basis. Efficiency of transaction handling is the key, we cannot afford any risk to institutions access to software and any corresponding services. Contract term is 1 year initial term + 2x 12 month extension options (i.e. 1 + 1 + 1)
