## Summary

The Cumbria Constabulary - Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner is currently conducting a tender for the "Cumbria Pathways (Cumbria Adult Out of Court Disposal Framework)" under an open procedure as part of the Light Touch Regime outlined by the Public Contract Regulations 2015. This initiative aims to implement the National Police Chiefs Council strategy to manage offenders in Cumbria, with key objectives including reducing repeat offending and improving community wellbeing. The tender period concludes on 28 January 2021, with a contract duration starting from 1 April 2021 for an initial three years, potentially extendable for up to two additional years. The estimated contract value ranges from £570,000 to £640,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in community services, offender rehabilitation, and social work sectors. Companies that specialise in guidance, health, or civic support services would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. By addressing the underlying issues of offending and enhancing community engagement, participating businesses could not only contribute to public safety but also expand their service offerings and strengthen their market presence in the region.
