## Summary

The procurement process titled "953_22 Modular Buildings" is initiated by Espo, acting as a Central Purchasing Body, to provide a framework for the design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of modular buildings across various sectors. This £500 million procurement is classified under the industry category of structural products and includes both hire and purchase options tailored for education and healthcare. The tender is currently in the open stage, with the submission deadline set for 20th October 2021. The resultant contracts will take effect from 1st February 2022 until 31st January 2024, covering delivery addresses throughout the United Kingdom.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the construction, modular building, and facilities management sectors to engage with public bodies, such as local authorities and educational establishments. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly well-suited to participate, given the framework's emphasis on inclusivity for various types of suppliers. Successful bidders may also benefit from potential additional agreements with ESPO Trading Limited, enhancing their opportunities within the public sector supply chain.
