The last Torbay Airshow in June 2017 attracted some 150,000 spectators to the event and the aim is to grow attendance by at least 15% each year to the benefit of the local economy. There is potential to grow in stature in a similar way to the air shows in Eastbourne, Bournemouth and Southend - all similarly free air show which attract significant numbers. The Airshow will potentially have a three hour flying programme each day and there will be a full ground display on Paignton Green and Preston Green with military attractions as well as a fun fair and other points of interest.
