## Summary

NHS Blackpool Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is initiating a procurement process for the "Parent Infant Relationship Service" aimed at supporting families experiencing challenges in developing positive relationships with their infants. This service is classified under health and social work services and is located in the North West region of the United Kingdom. The procurement method used is a Voluntary Ex-Ante Transparency Notice, with the tender period concluding on 20 December 2021. The contract, valued at £680,574, is set to commence on 1 February 2022 and will last for two years, ending on 31 January 2024.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialised in health services, particularly those focusing on early intervention, parent and infant mental health, and child development. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) that are equipped to provide training, assessments, and support services within this framework would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. Engaging in this project could enable businesses to expand their outreach and contribute to improving outcomes for vulnerable families in the region.

Additional information: Midlands and Lancashire CSU is publishing this VEAT Notice to confirm NHS Blackpool CCG's (the CCG) intention to award a contract for the pilot for the Parent Infant Relationship Service to Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
