## Summary

The West of England Combined Authority (WECA) is initiating a procurement process titled "Dynamic Demanding Responsive Transport (DDRT) Market Engagement" aimed at improving public transport integration across the region. This project is part of a £28 million Future Transport Zone initiative and is currently in the planning stage. The engagement period will conclude on 14 March 2022, with responses required by 14:00 on that date. The geographical focus includes areas such as the Northern Arc, Avonmouth, or Southmead in England, with an emphasis on innovation in transport solutions.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in transport services, particularly those capable of providing electric or carbon-neutral small to medium-sized fleets and advanced technology platforms for demand-responsive transport. Companies that can offer innovative, app-based booking solutions and demonstrate experience in collaborative trials would be well-suited to participate. Furthermore, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector organisations (VCSEs) are particularly encouraged to engage, allowing for the development of an inclusive transport service for residents and visitors alike.
