## Summary

The Charity Commission for England and Wales is seeking research services titled "Research for insight into improving digital content and communications". This procurement process is in the Award stage, with a contract that commenced on 31 January 2021 and is set to conclude on 30 January 2022. The total contract value is approximately £25,000, with a minimum threshold of £20,000. The research will be conducted in Bootle, England, focusing on the industry category of research and development services, particularly aimed at improving digital content and communications for charities.

This opportunity may present significant growth for businesses specialising in user research and consultancy services, particularly those with experience in engaging with charities. Companies that can effectively conduct one-on-one interviews and compile actionable insights from a diverse user base will be well-positioned to compete. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to apply, given that the procurement is open to them, promoting a more inclusive tender process.

## Notice

We are looking for a user research supplier to help us form an evidence base for improvements to our digital content and communications. This work is an important part of objective 4, "giving charities the understanding and tools they need to succeed". We want to carry out research with a range of trustees and charity contacts (often one person will carry out both roles) across a range of charity sizes. We are open to recommendations on the approach to take. However, we are keen to carry out one-on-one user interviews. We do not currently have any evidence from this kind of research, which has hindered our content work to date, so we are keen to start building an evidence base. To cover user research, analysis and recommendations: - User research with 15 participants to cover 3 user groups - - Optional video highlights reel based on 15 users
