## Summary

The East Cambridgeshire District Council is currently seeking quotations for its tender titled "Voluntary Sector Support Services," aimed at providing essential infrastructure support to voluntary and community sector organisations within the East Cambridgeshire region. This procurement falls under the services category and is classified under special-purpose road passenger-transport services, training services, and other community, social, and personal services. The tender period is set to conclude on 16th September 2021, and the contact for enquiries is Kerrie Wall at the council's office in Ely, England. The procurement method employed is a limited competitive quotation below threshold, with an estimated contract value of £39,856, which will be active from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2024.

This opportunity presents significant potential for businesses specialising in community services, training, and volunteer management to contribute to local recovery efforts, particularly in the aftermath of COVID-19. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community and social enterprises (VCSEs) would be particularly suited to participate, as they can leverage their local knowledge and expertise to support the council's initiatives.
