The Sports Equipment contract serves approximately 80 schools but for the re-tender exercise we are looking to add our Leisure Centres and other council departments that use sports equipment. Current spend is approximately PS60,000 per year but this could potentially increase with the addition of other council departments. The equipment should include, but is not exclusive to: General sports such as football, basketball, rounders, badminton, tennis, rugby and hockey. Physical activity resources such as various types and sizes of ball, bean bags, Frisbees, balance beams, stilts, resistance bands and skipping ropes. General equipment such as stopwatches, bibs, cones and markers, water bottles, clipboards, swim caps, floats, measuring tapes and trundle wheels.
