## Summary

The NHS Shared Business Services is planning to procure an Endoscopy Service, with an anticipated contract award date in November 2021. The procurement, classified under health services, is set to be conducted via an open procedure and will involve two separate lots: one for endoscopy and outpatient services, and another for colorectal and general surgery outpatient clinics. The procurement stage is currently in the planning phase, with a total budget allocation of £4,000,000 to £5,000,000 for the contract period extending from November 14, 2021, to November 13, 2023. The service will be delivered across the North West region of the United Kingdom.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those that can provide qualified clinical staff for endoscopy and outpatient care. Companies experienced in managing healthcare contracts and equipped with relevant certifications (e.g., GMC, RCN) would be well-positioned to compete. The invitation to express interest allows service providers to influence the procurement approach, potentially leading to a direct contract award in the absence of competitive bids. This Offers flexibility for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise organisations (VCSEs) to engage in a collaborative market environment.
