## Summary

The procurement process is led by the Countess of Chester Hospital and concerns the National Framework Agreement for the provision of Smart Buildings Solutions using the Internet of Things. The main industry category is energy-management services, with an emphasis on solutions for intelligent commercial buildings. The procurement is currently in the Award stage, having completed the tender period which ended on 7th June 2021. The awarded contract, valued at £10 million, commenced on 3rd August 2021 and will run until 2nd August 2027.
