Located in London, this project offers a chance for businesses to showcase their expertise in delivering high-quality roofing solutions within the specified timeframe. ## Notice The City invites Quotations for the provision of The Fly Tower Roof Renewal The site comprises the flat roof located to the top of the Barbican Theatre, located in the Barbican Centre and covers the fly tower of the theatre, based in London, EC2Y 8DS The works comprises the roof renewal to the Fly Tower Roof and associated works, The Barbican Theatre in London including the following: - Removal of the Existing Roof Covering; Installation of new insulation - New Roofing Covering The current substrate is to be stripped back down to the asphalt and overlaid with a Centech warm roof system, thermally upgrading the roof bringing it in line with current regulations. The roof is to be finished with the Centech PU 20 system to provide a long-term, seamless, thermally efficient, waterproofing solution. For this application, we have specified the Centech PU 20 Roof system incorporating the use of Centech PU moisture triggered Polyurethane technology. Centech PU is a single pack, high performance membrane designed to provide enhanced long term waterproofing protection for your roof. The product is supplied in two colours, both products can be used as either a first coat or a top coat. The two different colours should be used for alternate coats in the two coat 20 year system, as this enables the applicator to distinguish easily between areas that have had the next coat and others that still require the next coat. The system is reinforced with the Centech GFM a specially designed 225 gram glass fibre mat, which adds extra dimensional stability to the completed membrane.
