## Summary

The Bernicia Group, a social housing provider operating approximately 14,000 properties in the North East of England, has initiated a tender process for an employee cash health plan. The plan aims to replace various current staff benefits for around 630 employees. This open procedure (below threshold) falls under the industry category of health insurance services (CPV: 66512200). Interested parties must contact Adam Brown by 18th October 2024 for further details. The contract period is set to commence on 1st April 2025 and will last for 12 months, with the possibility of extension for up to an additional three years, subject to annual review.

This tender creates significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health insurance services, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The project suits businesses capable of providing competitive employee benefits packages and offers potential scalability with the option for longer-term contracts, particularly if discounts can be applied. Businesses that excel in customer service and can meet specific criteria set by Bernicia, including gaining executive sign-off, are well-positioned to compete. This tender is a recurring procurement, providing ongoing opportunities for successful suppliers.
