## Summary

The procurement process involves the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) seeking proposals for the "Careers Advice, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance Research and Improvement Project". This initiative aims to gather critical intelligence on the availability and quality of careers advice services in the South West region of England. The tender is currently in the active phase, with submissions accepted until 18th November 2019. The project budget is set at £50,000, and the contract is expected to commence on 2nd December 2019, lasting until 31st March 2020. The procurement falls under the services category, specifically related to market and economic research.

This opportunity presents significant potential for businesses specialised in research consultancy and career guidance services, particularly those that can address the barriers faced by various demographic groups. Companies that possess experience in conducting economic research, stakeholder engagement, or those with a strong background in educational services are particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. The resulting recommendations from this project could lead to further investment and commissioning of services, thereby fostering future growth in the sector.
