## Summary

The NHS Shared Business Services has awarded a contract titled "Whole Systems Community Transport Service (Community)" for the provision of transport for individuals over 65 in the West London area. This service aims to facilitate access to clinical and social appointments, supporting the local Whole Systems Integrated Care Pathway currently being developed. The procurement method utilised was a direct award without competition, with the contract period set to commence on 1st April 2018 and extend until 31st March 2019, with a potential option for a further one-year extension. The value of the contract is £110,208, and interested parties should note that the tender period ended on 19th January 2018.

This procurement presents an opportunity for businesses specialising in community transport and health services, particularly those who can provide tailored solutions for the over 65 demographic. Companies with experience in integrated care delivery, transport logistics, and working alongside public health organisations would be well-suited to engage in future procurement processes as the NHS West London CCG plans to develop a new model of care following market engagement in March 2018. Additionally, the emphasis on holistic patient care suggests that organisations with voluntary sector partnerships may find advantageous avenues for collaboration in upcoming tenders.
