## Summary

The procurement process is for a contract titled "Fine Art Storage Supplier" managed by the London Universities Purchasing Consortium on behalf of The Courtauld Institute of Art. This contract falls under the services industry category, specifically focusing on storage and warehousing services. The procurement process is at the award stage, with the contract having commenced on 16 April 2018 and set to conclude on 30 April 2023. The tender period ended on 22 December 2017, and the total contract value is approximately £1.55 million. The services will be primarily required in London, with a focus on providing secure and climate-controlled storage for an extensive collection of fine art and antiquities.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in storage and logistics, especially those with the capacity to handle fine art and valuable collections. Companies that offer specialised warehousing solutions, particularly within a 90-minute transport radius of The Courtauld Institute, would be well-positioned to compete for this contract. Additionally, businesses must demonstrate compliance with the UK Department for Transport's regulations for known consignors. Engaging in this tender could enhance the visibility and reputation of firms in the competitive niche of art storage services.
