The procurement is currently at the Tender stage, with submissions due by 12 noon on 6 April 2017. The contract will commence on 1 May 2017 for an initial term of two years, extendable by an additional year, with a total estimated value of £30,000 over the full duration. The service will provide a seamless journey for staff from searches undertaken against structured bibliographic databases also referred to as abstracting and indexing database and to the content they are eligible to access. The selected system should provide an easy-to use, intuitive interface which enables flexible analysis of the relevant data according to the developing needs of AHDB. The primary purpose of the selected database will be to provide AHDB's staff with the relevant data by understanding publication activities for Agriculture and Horticulture staff. The contract shall be for an initial period of two years with the option to extend for a further 12 months. Contract Value: approx. PS10k a year for 3 years total of PS30k. This covers the cost of the database as well as the company services. Additional information: Submissions must be sent electronically to procurement@ahdb.org.uk by 12 noon on 6 April 2017.
