## Summary

The National Army Museum in London is seeking proposals for a Transport Tender to appoint an art shipping company responsible for packing and transporting 65 objects for an upcoming exhibition scheduled to open in March 2018. This limited procurement opportunity, with a total contract value of £5,000, has a tender submission deadline of 17th December 2017. The winning contractor will require experience handling large and delicate items and must adhere to various logistical and safety requirements highlighted in the tender documents.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specializing in logistics and transport services, particularly those with experience in handling art and museum objects. Companies that provide solutions for safe transit, including climate-controlled transportation and insurance coverage during transit, would be well-suited to compete. The competitive quotation process encourages small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) capable of delivering high-quality logistics services to apply, leveraging their agility and bespoke service offerings to meet the unique needs of cultural institutions like the National Army Museum.

Included as separate documents with this tender brief are: * Excel spread sheet with a list of objects, dimensions, crate requirements, courier requirements, lenders and delivery dates. * A list of collection addresses for all lenders. * Specification of pre-existing crates 1. The company will be responsible for: 1.1.
