Sandwell has approximately 800 international children joining us every year; you would be employed to work 5 morning per week 8.30am to 1.00pm (term time only) to co-plan and deliver an EAL learning package for a class of 25 (maximum) Years 7 - 11 students. You will be the teacher of this group 4 days per week and support our service on the fifth day. * Experience with the needs of EAL children. * Experience of teaching mixed ability classes with mixed year groups and needs. * Able to be flexible and adaptable in their delivery. * Able to deliver a roll on roll off curriculum to a continuously changing class. * Familiar with the DfE scale of English proficiency (would be beneficial). * Able to teach National curriculum maths ranging from primary to secondary level. * Planning, marking and assessessment of children's work. * Being a team member and passionate about children.
