The contract begins on 1st April 2025 and is set to run for three years, with an option to extend for up to two additional years, divided into four geographical Lots - North, South, East, and West & Central Birmingham.

This tender offers significant growth opportunities for businesses within the independent third sector, particularly those specialising in community, social, and personal services. Ideal candidates are those capable of providing a minimum of two full-time advisors per area for at least 48 weeks per year. Given the council's preference for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs), businesses in these categories are highly encouraged to apply. Successfully securing the contract can enhance a firm's portfolio and strengthen its position within the public sector service provision market.
