## Summary

The public procurement process concerns a tender awarded by Hampshire County Council for the provision of mental health supported housing services, specifically Lot 3 for East Hampshire. This project falls within the social work services sector and is directed towards working-age adults struggling with severe mental health challenges, including young individuals transitioning from youth services. The awarding of the contract, valued at £635,110 annually, took place on 23rd November 2020, with the formal contract period commencing from 1st April 2021 and lasting for a maximum of ten years. The procurement was executed through a selective call-off procedure from an existing framework agreement.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in health and social care services, particularly those focusing on mental health support and accommodation. Companies that can demonstrate expertise in delivering personalised care solutions, fostering self-management, and developing social support networks would be well-suited to compete for this contract. Furthermore, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, aligning with the council's aim to provide responsive and adaptive services to meet the evolving needs of the community.

The Provider and HCC will agree to regularly keep support services under review with a formal cycle of service reviews over the life of the contract to take place every two years. The review will be undertaken in partnership with the Provider and will look at all aspects of the service including the appraisal of the accommodation on offer to ensure it remains fit for purpose and meets the needs of a diverse range of people with mental health and other secondary support needs.
