## Summary

The Houses of Parliament in Westminster are seeking to establish a framework agreement for broadcast installation work, specifically through tender FWK1107. The procurement falls within the television and radio broadcast transmission services category and has an estimated value of £1.5 million. This active tender is currently in the planning stage, with submissions due by 12.00 noon UK time on Thursday, 27th April 2017. Successful contractors will be responsible for the design and installation of broadcast facilities in various historic locations, including the Grade I listed Palace of Westminster. The contract is set to begin on 1st July 2017 and will last for three years, with an option to extend for an additional year.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in the design and installation of broadcast systems, particularly those with experience working in listed or heritage buildings. Companies in the broadcast equipment and ancillary works for broadcasting sectors would be especially well-suited to apply. With up to five contractors expected to be appointed, this framework could open doors to ongoing work within the prestigious environment of Parliament, thus fostering business growth and brand recognition in a highly competitive field.
