This framework and delivery plan will complement the Place-based Strategies and Local Growth Plans currently under development by local authorities and the West Midlands Combined Authority by outlining the role of innovation in supporting economic growth. The Innovation Framework and Delivery Plan will be developed through methods such as (but not limited to) a literature/evidence base review, analysis of internal business support and regeneration documentation, and a detailed consultation and engagement process with relevant stakeholders, businesses and associated agencies which will form short, medium and long-term programmes to be delivered. Input on the appropriate methodology to pursue is also welcomed through the tender process.
