The contractor will be required to work 7 days per week to enable the works to be completed in as little time as possible. Vegetation removal will include: * Clear vegetation and silt build up in all verges. * Overhanging trees to NW of the bridge to be cut back. * Tree on formed island immediately downstream between span 5 & 6 to be removed/ killed. * Saplings to be removed from cut waters, wing walls and parapets. * Remove ivy from SE parapet. Masonry Repairs will include: * Receive delivery of 7.6 m3 of new stone plus an additional 10% purchased by North Yorkshire County Council between Monday 22nd January and Friday 26th January 2018 * Carefully dismantle parapets as per contract drawings and set aside stones that are to be reused.
