## Summary

The University of Warwick is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) for its Business in Practice Simulation, aimed at exploring potential providers of educational software solutions. This procurement process, classified under the educational software category, is currently in the Tender stage, with a deadline for submissions set for 8th March 2019. The university is located in Coventry, West Midlands, United Kingdom, and the successful respondent may potentially engage in a subsequent contract period running from 1st August 2019 to 31st July 2020. The procurement follows an open procedure above threshold and encourages suppliers to share their experiences and indicative cost information.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in educational software, especially those with experience in providing innovative solutions tailored for academic institutions. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) would be particularly well-suited to compete, as they can offer unique and flexible solutions that meet evolving educational needs. Engaging with this procurement exercise could foster strong relationships with a prestigious university and enhance a company's portfolio through collaborative projects in the higher education sector.

## Notice

Warwick Business School (WBS) currently run a Business in Practice (BIP) module for MSc students as an alternative to a dissertation, over two weeks in June. The module has run since 2015 and was significantly redesigned in 2017 to its current format. We have built up a successful relationship with our current supplier over a number of years, however wish to explore and test the market for other potential providers of a solution that could meet the evolving requirements of WBS. We would therefore like to invite suppliers to provide a summary of their relevant experience in this field and some indicative cost information. The University may then seek to invite suitably experienced and competitive potential providers to a meeting with key project stakeholders in order to further showcase their functionality and evidence implementation with current, relevant customers. This exercise is purely for the purpose of information gathering in order to inform the University's procurement strategy going forward.
