The Council are looking for care and placement providers (which might include accommodation) who can meet the complex needs of a small number (approximately 8-10 per year) of Cornish children and young people and would like to develop a framework of specialist providers from the South West who will be able to meet this need. The soft market test and market engagement event are an information gathering exercise and it is intended that any responses will be used by the Council to develop a business proposal. Any such proposal would be subject to the development and approval of a business case, and, as such, this exercise implies no commercial commitment and is not a formal tender document. Participation in this soft market test will not prejudice providers participating in any future procurement for the services in this document or any other services.
