## Summary

The procurement process involves the refurbishment of Block EFAA at Bensham Manor School, a special educational needs secondary school located in CR7 7BN. The project is initiated by ARCADIS (UK) LIMITED, under the Department for Education's Priority School Building Programme, aiming to address urgent repair needs. Currently in the planning stage, the early engagement notice was published on 19th October 2020, with the engagement period concluding on 26th October 2020. The tendering process is expected to commence in mid-November 2020, with the works anticipated for completion during the summer holidays of 2021. The project is classified under construction work for school buildings, with a budget estimated between £160,000 and £200,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for construction firms, particularly those specialising in school facilities, refurbishment, and design and build projects. Businesses with experience in similar educational environment refurbishments, including case studies from the past three years, are particularly well-suited to compete. Interested contractors will need to demonstrate their capacity for project delivery and submit their qualifications within three weeks of the tender's commencement, making this an excellent opportunity for growth in the education sector.
