Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings is an historic site which has been a major regeneration project by Historic England since 2005. It is now a multi-use site composed of eight listed buildings, including a museum, cafe and commercial office space. The site's occupancy has recently increased and is likely to increase further in the future. The visitor centre and cafe are open fifty-two weeks of the year. Both run a seven-day operation in high season and school holidays and a five-day operation in low season. High season is typically from Easter through to the end of October, although this can vary. The opening hours for the cafe and Visitor centre are 10am to 4pm. The tenants who occupy the commercial office space have access 7 days a week, year-round. The opening hours of the site are 08:00 - 20:00 on weekdays, and 09:00 - 18:00 on weekends.
