Swindon Borough Council, on behalf of the Swindon Town Deal Board, is seeking to commission a provider for consultancy work to develop a Town Investment Plan for Swindon for completion of the final report by 10th July 2020, which will be owned and delivered by the Board. This is an exciting opportunity to articulate a plan to drive economic growth and opportunity in the town by developing key projects to attract further investment. The purpose of this specification is to outline the requirements and provide information enabling potential suppliers to tender for the work. The supplier will be required to work with the Town Deal Board to articulate Vision and Strategic Objectives and a Town Investment Plan which will comprise the framework for developing business cases for priority projects selected by the Board. The Town Investment Plan will form the basis of a bid to Government for schemes to the value of up to PS25m. The initial contract term will be for 4 months, commencing Wednesday 13th May 2020. Estimated contract spend is between PS15,000 and PS25,000 across the contract term. Full details relating to the services are provided in the tender documents.
