The contract will include: the isolation and removal of existing redundant switchgear including external feeder pillars and internal distribution equipment from within buildings; the provision of new sub-main cabling within trenching and ducting (circa 400metres); provision and installation of new route mounted Feeder Pillars; provision and installation of a new LV switch panel within a new Glass Reinforced Plastic walk-in enclosure; final connections to existing electrical equipment, testing, commissioning and making ready for operational use; civil engineering work for the excavation and insulation of ducting, installation of Feeder Pillars; trenching in of hard and soft landscaping and the construction of several concrete bases; the requirement to act as Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations; Additional information: This may interest a civil engineering contractor with in-house electrical support and or call upon an electrical sub-contractor, or vice-versa.
