## Summary

The procurement process is conducted by the Merseyside Police - Procurement Department, aimed at selecting a single company for Reactive and Planned Maintenance services specifically concerning mechanical works. This project falls within the Repair and Maintenance Services industry category and is intended to support the estates strategy of the Merseyside Police, located in Liverpool, England. The tender is currently open for bids, with a closing date set for 7th October 2021. The total contract value amounts to £4,000,000, and the selected contractor will be responsible for various maintenance tasks, including proactive servicing and responsive repairs across the estate, which includes new, refurbished, and longstanding buildings. The procurement method used for this tender is a restricted procedure under selective procurement.

This tender presents a significant growth opportunity for businesses specialising in mechanical maintenance and repair services, particularly those with experience in supporting public sector organisations. Companies that can demonstrate their capability in providing both reactive and proactive maintenance, alongside a robust out-of-hours service, would be well-suited to compete. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, especially those looking to expand their footprint in the public procurement landscape while contributing to the efficacy of essential services for the Merseyside Police.
