The service will also provide support to commissioners within the Learning Disability Health Equality Team. The proposed approach to Experts by Experience supports wider commissioning intentions to focus on prevention, independence, and the assets and strengths of families, adults and communities. This will help ECC to deliver key responsibilities and duties under the Care Act and as a member of the Transforming Care Partnership.
